Facebook groups
We currently have 3 Facebook groups.
We have just set up a new Facebook Group - 'New Powers for Scotland's Community Councils', to discuss the powerlessness of community councils, and what can be done about it.
We also have a general discussion board for community councillors called 'Scotland's community councillors chewin' the fat'. This is open to any currently-serving community councillor in Scotland (although we may allow someone to join if s/he is a candidate in a forthcoming community council election, or if s/he is helping to set up a new community council). It is your first port of call if you want to raise a new topic or ask a question.
Lastly, we have a group that is open to anyone who is interested in the work of community councils - Join the Craik with Scotland's Community Councillors. This is also ideal for community councillors who want to reach out to the wider world.
